Hello! I’m Laurel Hechanova. I currently help run the design practice at MU/DAI, a fantastic company with offices in LA, Chicago and Austin. (We're growing! Come work with us!)
I specialize in making intuitive, research-based flows and interfaces. Some of the stuff I’ve worked on includes web and mobile application design for Google, Twitter, the American Medical Association, MIT and Brown University.
I also recently taught user experience design at General Assembly as an immersive, intensive course. Prior to that, I was a product designer at Findery, a travel-based social network, where I helped design apps for web, Apple Watch, Android, and Windows as well as an Editors’ Choice iPhone app.
I live with an overly affectionate cat, and my favorite food is any available cake.
Let's work on fun stuff together!
